A nice read. AND it ends with a quote from the Hitchhikers Guide To The Galaxy!

@mcfly@milliways.social @bert_hubert@eupolicy.social As I understand it DigiD does not CONTAIN pension and health or any other data. You use it when you login to online systems to identify yourself. It only "gives" the online systems your BSN/"social security number" with the assurance that it is actually you.
The damage that could be done by taking down this platform would nevertheless be huge, since a lot of systems rely on the DigiD for the logins.
The systems you can login to do include pension and health related systems.
Proud of myself. An investment of € 6.29 on AliExpress (sorry) to by an ESP32 and NRF24L01 and few hours of experimenting and some soldering I can now monitor my solar panels!
Big thanks to #OpenDTU

@rperezrosario Finally a poll on this important issue! And I'm definitely an "es queue el" person. Like all sane persons ... 😉
Is het al vandaag of toch nog gisteren #postnl ? Het lijkt mij dat de app (of het achterliggende systeem) een feestdag heeft gemist. En ik denk natuurlijk ook direct dat er geprogrammeerd wordt met behulp van AI...
Finished my #diy project: I made concrete supports to reposition some of my solar panels.

Next: see if I can monitor the micro converters without buying an expensive device... #openDTU

@bert_hubert@eupolicy.social I suspect that more people/companies that rely heavily on AI will be "paying through the nose" in the not too distant future.
