Calls all the right APIs, and by George that might be a native button or dropdown but otherwise uncharismatically horrible in taste and feeling. @gruber@mastodon.social

@viticci @fab1An I just noticed I hadn't been seeing any of your posts or others from the @macstories team and my account is still following the old accounts.
Is the redirect/move still in progress, just really slow? A little unsettling that someone might move and I might never notice.

@fab1An did some research and it seems moved followers can get stuck on an old account. With the way it works the old accounts followers should drop to 0 as they are moved to the new one.

This past holiday season I have to say my “favorite” new physical spam mail tactic of cloaking them in the design of Christmas cards down to the hand written addresses, card sized envelopes, and holiday stamps — oh and the lack of return addresses was all both infuriating and rather brilliant. I wish you all infected hangnails in 2026.
