Choan Gálvez

This is Choan Gálvez, composer, performer, and #ukulele player established in Barcelona. I've written a large opus of instrumentals and have published eleven sheet music books of original works for solo ukulele. I've also released three solo  ukulele albums available on Bandcamp. My compositions have been premiered and recorded by the likes of Giovanni Albini, Donald Bousted, and Samantha Muir, among others. Here’s a playlist which could serve as an introduction to my music: An introduction to Choan Gálvez's music (YouTube) #introduction #ukulele

So, I do write music for ukulele. In 2018 I published my first solo album (I'll let you know about my 20th century musical history in other occasion). 10 minutos para ukelele solo is a collection of short pieces — about one minute each — for, you guess, solo ukulele. I released the album on #Bandcamp along a booklet containing the tablatures. Thus, I guess this was also my first sheet music book. Go listen — and throw me a few bucks if you like it ;)

I'm THIS happy to let you know that my new album is now available on Bandcamp. https://choan.bandcamp.com/album/less-is-enough Less Is Enough compiles eight new recordings of original tunes for solo #ukulele, of minimalistic nature, written along the last five years. I hope you'll like it! Also: it's #bandcampFriday, which means that if you acquire music today in Bandcamp, artists get a bigger part of what you pay.
