Reflexive security, accidental hacker, writer, mad scientist, spacecraft operator, polymath, inexplicably beloved by random wildlife. I probably know things you would prefer I didn't. Lapsed GWAPT, ADHD, EDS, red team. Anathea 6:1-4. Posts=mine, not employer's, not yours.
All references to black cats in anything of mine are referring to the beautiful creature in my profile pic, the other beautiful creature not in my profile pic, the one who wanders by expecting me to feed her, etc. I hadn't even heard of the APT group until I'd had the handles for a year!

It is fine if the Artemis project isn't your cup of tea. Seriously. I don't get it, but you do you.
Don't hate on those of us who love this tea. Mute.

Song That Never Ends
Hamster Dance
"Humpty Dance"
"Humpty Dance" with "Hamster" instead of "Humpty"

@futurebird What the ACTUAL FUCK
Also, uncanny valley big time. They fucked up the blink rate and it can't get microexpressions at all. Nice touch with the ring light reflection, though.
Also apparently my gut level "kill it with fire" reaction to generated voices is milder with speech than song, mostly because I used to play with the text to speech thing on my Mac SE when I was a kid and got used to the tones; it still sounds like that to me.

@mttaggart So if for some reason you want to install the thing, either a VM or dedicated and isolated terminal sounds like the way to go.
AOS!!!!!
Artemis II: the furthest from Earth humans have cried.
If you are in the DC Metro area, the air will be nearly unbreathable. New HVAC filters, set HVAC to recirculate, get and keep all pets inside, and make sure you have any asthma/breathing meds and N95 masks stocked up. Like, NOW.

(I tried to get the wayback link but I'm getting 503 errors.)
There are a lot of services reporting partial outages right now, since around 17:30UTC.
If things aren't processing fast, it's not just you. Definitely check your systems, but there's a decent chance it's upstream from you. I can't yet ID if it's 'net or a service that specific orgs use.
