@tarleb To some extent my motivation to open-source hand-written code has increased. I see my thoughtfully and carefully hand-written code as more valuable to humans that want to read it. I know I value reading thoughtfully hand-written code by others, including by you! It documents detailed knowledge of a human. And I value that more than what an LLM generates.

@tarleb What did you like about the results from your code re-done using an LLM? Is this porting your code from one language to another? What is a specific example?

I've started reporting vulnerabilities to all kinds of projects and the majority have trouble or patching issues found.

Is there a public example of such vulnerability you have reported that you can show us?

I wonder if the majority of people reporting vulnerabilities by using Claude have trouble self-evaluating the quality of their reports.
