Not only is AI generated content time consuming to fix, you almost always end up with a much worse document than if you'd written it from scratch because you run out of time, patience, the will to live, or a combination of the three

@bluegreenandfree define a shared goal with mgmt, something like “increase velocity without compromising quality”. Make the discussion about quality - who and how it is measured (got to be developers). Declare an evaluation window. Get the team to identify the lower end tasks that could be performed with AI+sensible checks and balances. Show examples to mgmt. Coach the team behind the scenes on how to manage the optics. They will need to understand that every job going forward will have managers pushing for this…and that handling this topic delicately is a useful skill to nurture. The most interesting areas of their job aligning with their seniority - esp planning - are still in their control. Maybe think of AI as a 10-15 year younger version of yourself that you can hand tedious tasks to. Hope this helps!

So Open AI has a support channel, but it seems that they don't reimburse credits under any circumstances. In my case, Codex actually confirmed it had done something taxing that it had explicitly been told not to do, sent me off to support recommending I provide screenshots of its apology, and support still won't gimme tokens or refunds. OK, expectations managed, I guess...
