Look around. Carcosa is now.

Finally discharged, waiting for taxi, then train. Nearly home.

Home tomorrow, doctor happy with me. Good news, as man in neighbouring bed was possessed by the devil last night. He's Romanian and rcovering from throat surgery and spent all night gargling, spitting, swearing and shouting in his sleep.

To what question is the answer a £3500 phone?

Ever since the debut of the trifold form factor in season 1 of Westworld, I have lusted after this tech. But I cant justify that price tag. I will make do with my bi fold.

Whisper it. Scotland. Triple Crown?

Well; thats that then. It is what it is.

I have just popped over to the local church hall and done a big runny democracy. Torn between informed tactical voting (Plaid) and policy alignment (Green), I waited until the pencil was in hand and chose the former.

Hwaet! This is not a drill..

23 Seconds to Eternity, the collated video history of the KLF, is currently available in all its two hour glory on the BFI player. I am old enough to remember the video to Doctorin' the Tardis and now you can too. I am 30 minutes in and its 1992 all over again.

This car journalist's review of the Tesla Cybertruck is worth twenty minutes of anyones time. May I offer i to the record as evidence "Fisher Price brutalism" and "broligarch". An excellent way to ease into Sunday.

Just seen The Bride!

Five strange moons out of five from me. Jesse Buckley never better. Any Frankenstein film willing to include "Putting on the Ritz" knows exactly what its doing.

How has "From" managed to get four seasons without me knowing about it?

See below the "man in the yellow suit" which is the most unexpected manifestation of the King in Yellow since Grant Morrison.

This series is literally oozing Carcosa all over the place.

Watched Sinnners last night - well earned oscars for cinematography and original soundtrack. Took a little while to get going, but I am not syre thsts a criticism

So did anyone have "Ellen deGenerees - Ba'al worshipping cannibal" on their 2026 bingo card?

I have just rewatched The Draughtsman's Contract, one of my favourite overblown 1980s art films. I see something new in it every time I watch, and I would kill for those costumes. And gods own soundtrack.
