@sabik @ketan I'd say it would help more if every country is getting the point that renewables are the most cost efficient sources of energy and the most energy efficient things to do is to electrify (and hence also more cost efficient). Even if the main problem is global warming, nowadays there's not even the need to argue in that direction. "Cheaper for all" should be understandable for everyone...

@sabik @ketan Oh yes, I'm sure about that. On the positive side it's good to see that it's less and less viable to follow that pattern since renewables just make more sense to invest to.

@sabik @ketan this is exactly same pattern as here. In 2022 they had to shift away from russian LNG. Doubled down on other suppliers and the same shit happens again.

@ketan I hope in Italy they see those things. It feels that many countries in Europe still have the sense of: "Oh, the prices are high! We need more natural gas" But they don't want to understand that meanwhile Oil and Gas based Energy drives the prices up. Specially if demand keeps high, prices won't come down. That's like the 1st lesson taught in economy.

@adalanerd@eldritch.cafe I've installed the nextcloud news app in my self hosted nextcloud Server. I personally love this since I can use the nextcloud news app for android and got my feeds and read status synched. What works for me is to have the articles show up in a different order in the app (oldest to newest) and the the browser (newest to oldest). So I'm marking the articles I want to read alter in the browser and then get sure I'm not missing them when reading on the app.

@lnp@podcasts.social Tolle Folge! Zum Thema eID möchte ich noch ergänzen, dass ich in Italien schon mehrere Use Cases habe wo die digitale Identät Sinn macht. Ich kann z.B. mit meinem digitalen Ausweis (Smartcard) Dokumente digital signieren. Somit entfällt das Drucken, unterschreiben und Einscannen von Verträgen. Diese werden einfach per PDF/A Standard digital signiert und verschickt. Zudem geht auf vielen Behörden auch der Login mit dieser. Praktisch, da man nicht an X Ämtern persönlich Dinge machen muss.
