Although I'm a happy user of the new Jolla Phone, it is of course at the moment still limited in available apps. So I decided to just start asking some of the providers of my preferred Android apps if they are willing to provide a native version for Sailfish OS. I do not expect any of these to be actually happen, but if you don't ask, it will for sure not happen. The first 6 requests are out, other will follow in the coming weeks. #sailfishos #jolla #jollaphone2026

@ErikJonker@mastodon.social @_elena@mastodon.social @eff@mastodon.social even the technical part is flawed. You cannot use it to proof the person accessing the content is of a certain age. You can only proof rhe information used to perform the check is from a person of a certain age. Those are 2 different things.

Blijft een stom woord "influencer", klinkt veel te positief. Is toch gewoon verkoopmedewerker? Maar dan telkens voor een ander bedrijf omdat die toevallig geld geven.

@nllgg@mastodon.nl of een @jolla@techhub.social natuurlijk

@dave @servo for sure

@GrahamCampbell@mastodon.scot nice to see someone from Neural on the Fediverse. Bit of a nasty question, when can we expect Linux drivers for these pedalboards? This is the only thing blocking me from moving entirely to Linux. Cortex Control works fine in Bottles, but the pedalboard is not recognized as USB device in Linux. In these times of moving away from big tech this would give Neural an advantage over its competitors. #neural #quadcortex #linux #bottles #wine #bigtech

@The_Whore_of_Blahbylon@mastodon.social the prevention paradox

@arjenlubach@mastodon.social toch wel tof om je hier weer terug te zien en blijf je programma voorlopig maken aub, hebben we hard nodig

@aivd nog makkelijker, koop minder slimme apparaten

@ente @frameworkcomputer me, me, please let it be me 🙂

@MostlyHarmless I stopped after 7, no result, I'm so disappointed

@nobodyinperson@fosstodon.org @jolla@techhub.social 873

@mullvadnet@mastodon.online nicely done, we need more rust implementations to give us the Dutch rust

@GrahamCampbell@mastodon.scot ah, that's too bad, but you could advocate for it in the organization 😁 But regardless, nice to see you on the Fediverse and well done on the Quad Cortex Mini

@Tutanota@mastodon.social So I guess Abcdefghij+1 is pretty ok

@workchronicles@mastodon.social so that's why my colleagues started calling me Bob today
