@jess@blop.social Most of the neon flex LED stuff is about 25 mm deep. If you can get the backplate routed and then feed it in, you should be good no matter what you make the plate out of. e.g. https://www.weloveleds.co.uk/collections/led-flex There are some smaller ones but they will need soldering rather than having push connectors (that site has some) Sharp angles are going to be your problem though

@jess@blop.social Ryedale Vineyards might disagree :) There's been commercial growing in Yorkshire since the mmid 80s (some of the early stuff wasn't great)

@jess@blop.social they'll grow, try Boskoop Glory on a south-facing (ish) wall. Either off the ground in a pot/container that you can wrap or where you can cover the base to keep the worst of the frost off the roots until they've grown (they're frost hardy once they get bigger)

@jess@blop.social @pndc@social.treehouse.systems theres a few places that do custom builds using LED Neon rope on a clear acrylic base (they're designed for shops, not mobile/outside by default) I know people who've used https://uvneon.com/ and not been upset (not the world's greatest accolade I know)
