catching some rays at the oval for the surrey versus Lancashire double header.

on a train to Cambridge.
had what would have been the nightmare scenario yesterday this morning. phone ran out of battery overnight so my alarms didnt go off. thankfully all this means is I'm catching a train to Cambridge 30 minutes later than I had intended so have less drinking time at the Cambridge beer festival. yesterday I might have missed a plane. (I probably would have been okay since the anxiety would have woken me up anyway)

because timezones are hard in reality I'll close it tomorrow morning. ( I am actually awake at 23:59 so could close it then but there are always a few stragglers.)
currently in a taxi to Cambridge. there was a fatality at Stevenage while my train was there. ( I saw the person jump down and the fast train then come through)
