I have never understood the point of a cafe/restaurant having a ‘website’ that is actually a facebook page and there is no way to see a menu…

There, fixed it for you.
We’re in Paris, staying in an air bnb. We’re REALLY struck by how quiet it is - because almost every car, truck, bus is electric! City smells better too…
May I just share with you all an edifying and uplifting photograph of a barrow of my own compost? I have never made actual compost - I always had a black plastic bin for house scraps, but really nothing like compost ever emerged.
In this house I made stacking 1/2 round tiers, read up a ‘how to’guide and am turning the compost - this is my third ‘batch’ in a year, and it is getting better and better! This lot is destined to be dug in for imminent tulips…
Imagine running on a platform of importing American culture-wars as your main advertising point…
What a surprise…
I recall back when I worked for Rape Crisis, going to do a session on working with rape survivors, out at the police college. And I remember that the detective Gordy Hunter standing up in the middle of the session, interrupting and talking us down, and saying “in my opinion nine out of every ten rape complaints is lies and the other one is doubtful” and walking out, with a group of guys following him.
Some of those men will still be in the police force.
I would LOVE to be a fly on the wall listening to how the oil and gas lobbyists are spinning things to try and ensure the government does not do a u-turn on the plan to build the LNG storage…
When I went out and did a small dinner shop, and I bought biscuits for me and biscuts for the dogs but no biscuits for my wife, I should perhaps get SOME credit becasue 2 out of 3 is 66% and that is a B grade, not (as alleged) a total fail.
A friend, truly the BEST sort of friend, introduced me to the breakfast delight of feijoas on toast. Hot buttered toast, ripe feijoa mush, a light dusting of cinnamon and a couple;le of fingerpinches of sugar for crunch.
Oh yes, life is for the small pleasures.
Oh how I laughed.
Maybe some American’s are realising that trump isn’t actually a christian. Has no christian morals. OMG being a sexual abuser didn’t do it, nor lying, adultery, greed, threatening mass murder and war crimes, mocking the disabled, abusing the pope - none of that was enough!
Poor evangelicals…
Does anyone in Dunedin know where I might rent an office for a couple of hours? Arrive in (by bus) on a Thursday 12.20pm, have 1-3 Teams meeting.
Prefer in the city, as no car…

@darkuncle@infosec.exchange I’d add ‘days with no pain’ but otherwise, this is perfection

@scubbo@fosstodon.org good to have scientific examination of what we all thought might be true…
Anyone know what the topic was of Seeby Woodhouse retweet leading to Voyager getting dumped from media awards?
What do you think is this US administration thinking about using nuclear weapons in the Middle East?

@paulh@cloudisland.nz interesting to me that no media is telling us what he tweeted about.
