It's nice that for accuracy, they include not just the training of an LLM but also of a human, "by considering a 20-year-old writer who, if raised in the U.S., probably used close to 250,000 kWh of electricity in his/her 20 years of life."
Someone really decided to write an article on the question: Do humans produce enough words per kWh to justify using humans for writing?
