Another go, a different variation on this idea from last week -
Wizard idea, they can adjust the flow of time and fate by tying different knots and unknotting other parts of their cape.

The most chthonic hulders in Underoak live deep underground where smells are used for navigation, cultural signalling, declaring warnings etc.
This guards fill the air with incense showing their allegiance.
It's an overwhelming place for first time visitors from the surface.

For the headwear a fencing style mask is faceless and fits the visual of the void motif while being seen socially as more a preserve of the landed classes - which fits her background.
It also links into some hiding their identity directly while displaying their allegiance clearly.

For the movement abilities that are a class motif I thought about crystals and oscillations.
I went for keys as this could also be woven into the coat of arms of a renegade noble.
I imagine the spells having a visual key element and her focus being a large key for a magical door on another plane.
