As the open-source ecosystem changes, we want to be clear: AzuraCast is 100% human-coded.
While we use (and encourage) code analysis tools, in the end, every line of code we commit is tied to a human being.
We do not use AI assistants to produce code for us, nor do we accept pull requests made or clearly written by them.
Our application is the product of years of hard work, not "vibe coding", and we intend to keep it that way to preserve our users' trust in our project.
AzuraCast 0.23.5 is available on our Stable release channel. It focuses on routine dependency upgrades and bug fixes, including an updated version of Liquidsoap (2.4.4) that fixes several bugs identified in the earlier version we have been running. Updating is recommended for all users.
AzuraCast 0.23.6 is now available on our Stable release channel. It incorporates fixes for a number of security vulnerabilities reported to us recently, mostly affecting already-logged-in users and their permissions. Updating is strongly recommended for all installations.

AzuraCast 0.23.4 is now available on our stable release channel. Along with some new features and quality-of-life bug fixes, we have also strongly tightened the security around the Liquidsoap custom scripting language, reducing the footprint of possible security issues associated with custom scripts. AzuraCast 0.23.3 is now available on our Stable release channel. Along with several important bug fixes and quality-of-life improvements, this version also fixes a recently reported vulnerability that relates to media management on multi-tenant (i.e. reseller) installations. If you're using AzuraCast in an environment like this, updating is strongly recommended.
AzuraCast 0.23.2 is now available on the Stable release channel. Along with several bug fixes and quality-of-life tweaks (like a new widget builder and Magic Links for account login), this version includes a fix for a minor security issue specifically affecting stations that use SFTP to manage their media. If you're using SFTP, updating is strongly recommended.

AzuraCast 0.21 is now out on our Stable branch! New features include support for Rocket Streaming Audio Server (RSAS), BlueSky posts as Web Hooks, many bug fixes and hugely improved documentation of our over 250 API endpoints. Updating is recommended for all Stable channel users.

We've added support for Rocket Streaming Audio Server (https://www.rocketbroadcaster.com/streaming-audio-server/), or RSAS, a high-performance commercial drop-in replacement for Icecast.
As RSAS is closed-source, we don't ship the binaries; you'll need to upload them via our Admin panel. Once you've done so, you can select RSAS as a broadcasting frontend on any station.
We still support and recommend Icecast and HLS for a majority of stations.
