Artaimis (Arta is a good nickname)

I am so unbelievably upset, as a Pittsburgher, in @anthrocon@mastodon.furrycon.social 's response here.

this is not the Yinzer Way. the Pirates didn't cheat, the Steelers and penguins didn't

why should artists?

@Unclekage@mstdn.social and the anthrocon staff need to do better

I think i'm gonna start going by Ace again.

a friend pointed out that i change my name in hopes of a fresh start and an attempt to make everything go away

and i shouldn't do that. at all.

i should embrace that i made mistakes in the past, that i will still make mistakes in the present and future and do my own best to show that I am not those mistakes and i am a better person.

i'll be changing my usernames to reflect that

besides, who doesn't love Ace? it's such a unique name.

I am going to have to resign up for every social media (pillowfort, cohost even here at mastodon) cause i can NOT access any of them with ANY of the emails I've been using and one of the password changing things is working -_- so annoyed.

edit: i got my pillowfort back at least

edit: and I got my cohost back. now i just need to figure out the email for my @/kataclysm account here. but i'm also honestly not worried about it. i want to be honest with people so i was just gonna delete it anyway

@scottjohnson@mastodon.sdf.org hey I just wanted to say that I totally get that it'll be a patreon only thing and I hope to be able to support that some day but I really enjoyed the game show you guys did yesterday even as a podcast.

thanks for doing great content, you've gotten me through some real tough days weeks and even years with all the fun stuff you do.

Really appreciate it <3
