@sampijam@piaille.fr ça me fait penser au baromètre de la douleur de 1 à 10 qui a fait couler beaucoup d'encre. (son rôle dans la crise des opiacés aux us)
Le fait d'associer un nombre donne une hierarchie à des choses qui sont pas juste + ou - graves mais qualititivement différentes.
Projeter un objet multi-dimensionnel sur une seule dimension me fait aussi penser aux critiques qu'on peut faire au qi.
Enfin, mettre un nombre a un effet de légitimation. cf trust in numbers de ted porter
