Appealing Apps

@stroughtonsmith@mastodon.social a company I work for has an app in app review for 73 days. 35 since last real response. Isn’t it nice to pay 30% for such wonderful perks like not shipping an app update for 2.5 months?

@stroughtonsmith@mastodon.social Update: that terms of use update a few weeks ago? That was for us. Apple changed the rules *in the middle of the app review* to disallow what we were doing. It was allowed at the start of the review, but not at the end. Thousands of hours of engineering and design effort now has to be ripped out. This is why dev relations is at an all time low Apple.

You could set up settings and it would share with your chosen friends if you were breaking out of your chosen limits to keep each other on track. The TOU change said screen time data cannot be shared with anyone else for any reason. Nothing disallowed it before a few weeks into the review process.
