A lot has happened around generative AI safety in the last few weeks. “Safety?” You might ask? Yes. Lately it seems to have been moving almost as fast as the development of #genAI and its large language models (#LLMs). I thought it'd be good to freeze the frame - take some time pull it all together in one post (or try) and see if I could give it all a little context: https://www.netfamilynews.org/generative-ai-july-2023-freeze-frame Let me know your thoughts, ok?
I've been rooting for this and other #Twitteralternatives since we lost the old #birdsite, and now we have #threads – which I think has a better chance of filling the social broadcasting hole #muskstwitter opened up than any of the "clones" to date. But its promise to be interoperable makes things interesting, don't you think?
