Some might think it janky in 2026, but sometimes I really love the left/right separated audio channels.
Can we all just sit here and gaze upon this mastery by Rick Parks in 16 colors? No scanning, done by hand in Deluxe Paint on an Amiga. It's almost photographic in its perfection.
Rick worked at Westwood Studios and worked on Eye of the Beholder I & 2, Dune 2, Kyrandia and other classics.
Rick died in 1996. His incredible creativity lives on.

Discuss.
All work and no play makes Ja…
Hang on, this work is actually fun.
Such a legend.
Ms. Heineman will be sorely missed but not forgotten by those who were lucky enough to play the games she helped create. Bard's Tale, Wasteland, Dragon Wars, Tass Times and several important Mac ports.
It was such an honor and a pleasure meeting her in 2018.
RIP, Becky.

Lord have mercy, folks. Come on now.
NEW VIDEO: I demo the mind-bendingly cool and rare Amiga hardware - Mindlight 7 - which is a music concert visualizer. And... they are being REBORN in 2026!

Originally a type-in program from Commodore World Magazine, this is a new enhanced version. Among the enhancements:
*Custom font
*Sound effects
*Bitmap title screen
*SID title music
Maybe I should open up a brand new brick and mortar Commodore dealer store to help sell the new C64 Ultimate computer, possibly even at the mall. What could go wrong? 😎

@hollowone@mas.erb.pw More like, digital graph paper. No accounts, no subscriptions, no tracking. And dead simple to use. Yet highly customizable. And, if you're a paper and pencil DnD DM kind of person, you can even stream a fog of war reveal to your players the dungeon they are exploring. But the MAIN use case is for you to create maps of the computer RPGs you're playing.
Black Crypt (1992) - an Amiga exclusive - was the first game by the same folks who would team up with id Software to bring us Hexen and Heretic. They'd later go on to Soldier of Fortune and Call of Duty fame: Raven Software, in Wisconsin. Wish they'd return to Fantasy.

@Cenbe@techhub.social Did you decide to retire your kneebucklingly lovely CMD/GEOS/et al resource website, lyonlabs.org?

@hollowone@mas.erb.pw not a game, I’m nearly done building software that supports people who play those games. Hope to release it in the next 3 weeks.
