Information Loss

The loss of old video games, films, books, and other media has been on my mind. Companies delete whole games from existence. 80% of silent films are gone, never preserved due to their chemical instability. Servers get shut. Licenses expire. Libraries burn. Digital and physical. Art is treated like it's disposable. We're not preserving culture. We're renting it until it vanishes.

Is there a piece of media you miss? One lost forever?

False Dreams A little bit of glitchy digital elements and a little bit of oil painting in this one. #photography #mixedmedia #digitalart #photomanipulation #portrait #queerartists #transartists

Walk Along Walker I've been neglecting my new year's goal of doing more street photography, so I am trying to get back into it. This is the Walker Art Center in Minneapolis. They are known for art, not treating their workers very well, & union busting. #bnw #blackandwhite #streetphotography #cityscapes #photography #minneapolis

Grey Gay Fun b/w series playing with fabric, graphic bars, and oil paint. Do you have a favorite from this set? #photography #bnw #blackandwhite #portraiture #mixedmedia #painting
