YouTube downtown train Chicago to the stadium is normal $8 for the World Cup it will be $200. Same in New Jersey , boston etc etc FIFA is corrupt but the USA is in hyper capitalist extraction machine mode and anti all foreigners. Players and officials being detained, USA don’t deserve the world cup. https://youtu.be/kONIQCThSR4?si=sdgMQlEDZPbi49pu
I don’t plan to update to iOS 27 beta but the speed improvements are the main thing I am looking forward to the system has got more and more sluggish as my phone has got more and more powerful 🤷

I was made to go to the beach - turns out to be the hottest ever day in May as temperature hits 34.8C (this is not a good thing but I did actually have a nice day!)
Feeling pretty fortunate that after almost 20 years ago making this film I have been able to screen to audiences again in a cinema setting at WSA as part of the Intrusive Images festival curated by Seth Giddings and Louise Siddons https://vimeo.com/898866
So pnpm 10 -> 11 seems to have brought a lot of changes spent a chunk of yesterday migrating nodenogg.in could not have done it without Claude Code that’s for sure. Hoping to push changes live to Southampton instance today but my azure secret key expired 🤦 so just waiting on IT to renew it.
Why in hotel bar when they have music playing and sky sports football are they bothering with the subtitles. They are slow and blocking half the screen and as a live football fan when I watch a game I don’t care / can’t access the commentary 🤪
Check out these trains books ! https://www.manton.org/2026/05/11/recycled-books-in-denton-ive.html
On my way to the Univerity of Plymouth as the external examiner for BA Game Arts and Design and MA Games Design - it’s a lovely train ride
Walking through Southampton if you’re visually impaired must be a nightmare. I can’t imagine the amount of times you get hit by overgrown tree branches. I’m hit by them because I’m seriously looking at my phone however again another example of how accessibility benefits more people than you realise!
