@QasimRashid It has become beyond ironic to see the Iranian regime come across looking smarter and more measured than the US regime.

@Daojoan@mastodon.social Sad to realise that on average and low deviation, the 5th stage is actually shopping.

@dmitry@mastodon.circle.lt Thank you, ordered and on the way.
Living in Japan, I saw a lot of confusion around the "nuclear question" over the past 10 years. Knowing little more than "the cloud" news cycle back to the 80s, this confusion is scary, like we don't learn.

@falseknees Crows and ravens are surprisingly smart. A couple books out there on them, as well as SciFi like "Children of Memory", 3rd volume of an ongoing series by Adrian Tchaikovsky, where these animals save a world.

Ironically Japan may manage to sell paper planes as defence solutions.
A startup here presented drones made of what looks like carbon boxes. Not checked what kind of payload, but made the news here.

@georgetakei Did it suddenly become cheaper for the Iran regime to blockade the strait? Managing a bouncer is so much easier a job.
TIL for some butterfly species, blood type can be understood with wing patterns.
TIL “Alpine divorce”. What a horrible way to get rid of someone in your life.

@dmitry@mastodon.circle.lt would you recommend readings on the topic? All I remember of the period is filtered by where I come from (France), when “the cloud” meant something else than today.

@dmitry@mastodon.circle.lt Thank you for the recommendation. Many books on the topic, from different angles. Does this one expand further on the points you introduce in the OP ?

@mysk@mastodon.social Thanks for sharing. Would you have alternative sources? The post from Green is more nuanced than what it sounds here... just read and he basically says "maybe", with disclaimers.
Also, the screenshot here shows access to 2024 data (did not check the video). No idea, but WA could hide behind a proclaimed small-scale bug fixed today.

@mysk@mastodon.social Hey thanks for your time. Alternative sources to the nuanced post from Green, and the screenshot.
My concern is double: Concerned by what you report (I don't use WA or whatever from Meta, but family and friends do), and concerned in making sure we spread solid information.
Anyway your tests look like confirming possibilities. Shared UIDs, shared storage on user device if only in browsers, etc. Stopping straight at any conspiracy, tools are available to stir data on user device.
