I just thought it was funny bc Debian is what I currently use and I was asking for more secure recs

@zyx@social.treehouse.systems @GrapheneOS@grapheneos.social Oh I'm sure, I chose it years before I really thought about security or privacy beyond "MS spies on you, don't use Windows" and given my issues with Linux distros in the past I liked that its updates never broke anything. Now that I am thinking about this stuff I was curious what they thought.

@GrapheneOS@grapheneos.social I know it's not what the thread is about so feel free to ignore, but what do you and your team recommend for desktop computing? I've used vanilla Debian on my main machine for years since I like the stability it provides, but as I think more about security on my devices I'm curious if I should look at other distros or OSes (e.g. BSDs). Seems like everyone has one distro or another that they preach and I'm curious what you guys think.
btw I love the work you all do, GOS has worked great for me, thank you :)
