Finished making farmer's cheese from the rest of the gallon of milk that I had not used yet before it spoils. 😋 Added in some fresh basil I grew on my balcony. Then used the whey to water the patio plants.

I met Maui, a service dog (for the past six years) and therapy dog (for two years prior), during my visit to the local botanical gardens today. She is ten years old and I am told she named herself. I am not quite sure how though. All the questions like does she love water or surf board did not seem to elicit the story. She used to love water but they are trying to reacquaint her to water play. No story offered beyond that. I am told she loves people. I noticed she was very attentive to her person. I did ask if I could pet her and also if I could take her pic and post it on Mastodon.

Just finished making some coffee flavored pudding. One of my neighbors who is over 100 is getting a treat tomorrow. 😋 It will make her happy since she had a molar extracted a couple of days ago.

The paver the newly emerged butterfly was on was next to the butterfly bed in the herb garden.
