Every time someone places a frog order I breathe juuust that little bit easier.

THANK YOU everyone who supports small businesses like mine!

https://www.etsy.com/listing/1395480333/made-to-order-frog-sweater-amigurumi

There's a $10-15 discount if you order direct thru me (via Paypal invoice that I'll create) vs ordering on Etsy (yay fees). Just send me a DM for such an order.

All proceeds from frog sales right now are going to support my son's top surgery IN A WEEK!!

Replying to

@DrPsyBuffy@mstdn.social I've found that Masto more than other social media type places requires effort to curate the space. Finding a good instance, following (and muting) the right words/hashtags, etc. For me it has the potential to be a lot better than elsewhere because the tools to make it better are in my hands. But the default experience is really not so different from elsewhere imho.

@DrPsyBuffy@mstdn.social The meanness is definitely still here. I will say one plus is that (dependent on your instance) the overt stuff is handled. Meanness exists in both places for sure. Masto has the option for instances with far more robust moderation than Twitter.

@shayz0rz@mastodon.online I probably could have made some alteration to my route that would have worked. But my brain was just too tired. Today has been A Lot.

Question for people who enjoy travel.

Between food allergies, a dog, and covid... Airbnbs were kind of an answer to my deep wishes for travel.

That whole industry is like... awful, and I know this. BUT, what other options exist? I like to get away, taking a road trip to some little house to book for a few weeks has become my lifeline. How can I do that and avoid AirBnB?

Long term hotels don't seem to offer ovens, and it's a hotel, I like renting a house.

@shayz0rz@mastodon.online I almost did today, only thing that stopped me was there wasn't one on my route and I was too mentally drained to figure out how to reroute to one.
