Well shit, I think if I were any sort of John Smith, I'd want to leave the country, regardless of my daughter's name! The government publishes its five-point plan to snatch you off the street to die in the meat grinder. You don't need to know anything about race replacement to understand that this is a bad thing, and that the gang that controls your life under color of law are simple malefactors. I imagine the buoyancy of hydrogen balloons would be insufficient to carry the equipment needed to supply the balloons, no matter how you scale it: you need many propellers to run the electrolyzer, with many power and power-storage requirements besides. All very heavy.

It's also not as cool as a submarine.
