mastodon 4.7.3+glitchHey! 👋 I‘m Vay the Charr. My pronouns are he/him.
I’m a furry from Belgium 🇧🇪 , who moved to southwest Germany 🇩🇪. My fursona is a Charr, which is a feline hybrid species from Guild Wars. I work in IT as a sysadmin, as the stereotype demands.
I love photography 📸 , practice it every day in some form (either going out and shooting, or editing), and usually bring my camera to furry events. Feel free to have a look at my work in the links below! ❤️

I sadly don't know who this green Lynx is, but have a little WIP of my photos for #fursuitfriday 😊
I officially moved+been working in Germany for 1 year this week 🥳
I’ve broken free from iCloud, I just back up my photos with Syncthing now
Although it’s not ideal due to iOS being iOS. To back up everything, the app I‘m using needs to export everything to a directory in Files, so effectively it uses 2x storage. Although, by the time that becomes a problem I’ll probably switch to Android again 😅
My photos in Tübingen were rather 🦌✨ deer-biased
Suiter is Tundra (tundra-deer over on Bsky)!
I’ve been watching sooo much Northernlion lately
I finished Mr. Robot today, excellent show, I loved it 👌

Still looking for people interested in a PWYW shoot at EAST 14! 📸
Perhaps I should bring an NFC tag with a link to my photography website to the next convention 🤔
And maybe some way to make it obvious people can ask me to take their photo? 😊
It's starting to get dark again when I'm getting up, I think that's cozy! :yeenblob_cozy:
I think I'll go for a morning walk while my backups are running, before starting on photo editing today
Played around with the Shelly Cameras and I quite like them. I set up Frigate as the NVR and it works, object/person detection and everything. Although, I had to „shove“ MediaMTX inbetween the cameras and Frigate to get RTSP authentication to work. It’s really not bad (at first glance) for a 40€ IP camera
Didn’t eat anything all day and now I over ate for dinner 🙃
