I don't know whether to be impressed or annoyed. This bramble has made its way through 2 layers of cardboard and 30cms of mulch. It's almost stopped the convolvulus/hedge bindweed but not this bramble. I have a helpful neighbour who swears by glyphosate and I'm trying to keep him at bay until the weather is cool enough to get out there and do a bit of key hole surgery. #gardening #weeds #nodig #organic

@limneticvillains@mastodon.online We're only just beginning to find out why Trump slapped tariffs on them. Clearly they have hoards of rare earth elements are using them to build advanced tech in hidden caves under the ice. They have to communicate with the orca somehow.

@Frieke72@mastodon.social @oleastre I have some "old friends" elsewhere in the garden which I have learned to live with but this one is a newcomer. It's slap bang in the middle of my new bed. I suspect a long shoot has worked its way under the cardboard until it found a weak spot. I hadn't thought of scything but it might be the only answer.
