Wow, someone's successfully targeted my embedded Rust USB host stack to *EHCI*. That's, like, a *real* host controller... https://github.com/imxrt-rs/imxrt-usbh #rustlang #embeddedrust #rustembedded

Genuinely believing that you were a clairvoyant did *not*, as I understand it, constitute a defence.

@dvandal@infosec.exchange Over the course of my journey from junior software engineer to senior software engineer, I watched with a tinge of sadness as the ratio of "coding to mentoring" steadily shifted over the years... the only fun part of the latter was watching people learn. "Mentoring" without learning sounds like an utterly thankless task...

@jripley (In our case we were pretty sure it wasn't actual bad RAM cells because -- on a system with no MMU -- the actual faulting address and backtrace would be different each time on the same unit.)

@nicuveo@tech.lgbt I freely confess I didn't really do the research before joining Mastodon. I assumed, incorrectly, that it was going to be just like Muskodon but without the Nazis, and the impermanence took me by surprise. Clearly tons of people view impermanence as a positive, though, so perhaps the question is, what _is_ currently a good (Nazi-free) social network site for "influencers", or, at least, for people who fondly imagine that their words of wisdom belong to the ages?
