Happy Cinco de Marco!
There are some days when work totally sucks.
Today is not one of them.
A little dirty, but it is funny.
So, I have been listening to the Who's rock opera "Tommy".
I always knew what it was about.
But after being awakened, I can really know what it is about.
And there it was since 1968, right there in our face.
I spoke with my boss today about the issues I am having focusing on my job and my desire to just go ahead and resign so the team can move on.
He suggested I take 60 days off (not sure if it will be paid) with a review of where I am at.
Doesn't matter if it's paid or not, the fact that I can approach upper management that I am burned and am concerned about my performance impacting the team, the fact that he is willing to look at all options makes me want to keeping working until am 80.

My last day with my company was yesterday and for the 1st time in almost 20 years, I had to buy a new laptop.
That said, I had used AI on the company laptop to determine what I wanted to buy so that I could have 3 external monitors. I purchased everything from Amazon in accordance with Co-Pilot AI instructions.
The docking station suggested by AI is not the actual one I needed even though AI provided me a laptop model etc.
So I went back to Co-Pilot on my new laptop.
