Happy VRChat Wednesday!! Starting today I'll share some pictures I made and got from me in VRChat every Wednesday. Similar to how Fursuit Friday works, but... with VRChat! And on Wednesdays! I'm starting today with some pictures from a photoshoot I got - made by an awesome Furality Supporter! 📷 MrPathfinder 🗺 Furality Ultra Dealers Den #furry #furality #FuralityUltra #VRChat

Happy Fursuit Friday!! Today's Ázzuens turn to get some points throwing darts! Like I mentioned last week, the first challenge of the "Prüfung der Fertigkeit" was a game of outdoor darts. We played in fursuits and I got 0 points. Sadly, I don't fully know how many points Ázzuen got, but it was more than 100, so... yeah, beat me to it fair and square. 📌 Furciety 2026: Duell der Götter 📷 Reven 🐺 @AzzuenBenAslan@meow.social#furry #FursuitFriday #furciety #furciety2026 #fursuit

@cato@chaosfurs.social Thanks! I love the outfit as well. Designed by the awesome @LumiaP2L@meow.social and 3d modelled by the wonderful @kianga@fedi.tail.ooo! (Should I add that info to the posts themself? I'm unsure )

@uvok@woof.tech @AzzuenBenAslan@meow.social that's just the perspective!! D:

@cato@chaosfurs.social yeah.... to be fair, the avatar has been worked on since July 2023. That's at least when I made my first git commit (so stuff happened before that already). Interestingly, the avatar is the main reason why I got my self hosted Forgejo! I wanted to work on that avatar with a friend and hosting that stuff on GitHub or -Lab didn't seem like a good idea.

On that note... what distro would you (dear Fedi) recommend? I'm relatively new to Linux but I like KDE. The only package manager I have some experience with is APT. (And, technically, snap.) I'm using Ubuntu on my servers already, so I know Ubuntu. And I have some (free) Ubuntu Pro licenses. Is there a way to get unstable but more current packages on Ubuntu / APT? But if I won't use (K)ubuntu, are there any other recommendations? #linux

I just got this really beautiful pride artwork made by @Nievaris_Art@pounced-on.me. Of course, when I got asked if I had an outfit in mind already, I had to ask for the techwear outfit that @LumiaP2L@meow.social originally designed for me. Luckily, Nievaris liked the outfit just as much as I did. So... yeah, this is how that outfit was born! :3 Happy Pride Month! #furryart #furry #pridemonth

About 9 months ago, I commissioned this beautiful artwork by KristKC and asked for it to not be shared online. I was super unsure if I'd ever want this to be posted at all. Well... today's the day I'm gonna share it with the world I guess. :3 It's a beautiful view! :D #furryart #furry

Happy Fursuit Friday!! The first challenge of the "Prüfung der Fertigkeit" was an outdoor darts game. You had some throws and had to get some points (0-100 per throw). The higher the points, the better you are. I got 0 points. In two rounds. ._. Well, that was because of my fursuit paws, of course. I mean, 4-finger puffy paws are just not that easy to throw stuff with. But I'm sure Ázzuen had similar issues as well, right? (His picture will be posted next week.) 📌 Furciety 2026: Duell der Götter 📷 Reven 🐺 @AzzuenBenAslan@meow.social#furry #FursuitFriday #furciety #furciety2026 #fursuit

5 early warning signs you may be a dragon, and what you can do about it

I tried drawing @violet0461@shonk.violet0461.de using a base (that I got from him, lol). That was fun! :3

Hm... Question regarding alt text for pictures here on Fedi! If I post something with 3 pictures, all of them being the same concept but just a little bit different (fursuit pictures), should I copy and modify the alt text of the first image onto the second and third, or should I just refer to the first image and state the differences? Boosts appreciated. #fedihelp #alttextmeta

Okay, mein LAN-Switch scheint langsam den Geist aufzugeben. (Schlecht!)

Hm, honest Linux question because I honestly don't know any better... I've heard that there are (at least) two types of distros / releases: Rolling Release and Standard Release. And, as far as I know, Arch (and those that are based on Arch) are the rolling type. Rolling was for faster updates, if I remember correctly? Now, what I've heard is that if you don't update your rolling release somewhat regularly, then you will get your OS fucked after waiting too long. (Meaning you can't easily update anymore.) Is that actually (still) true? #linux

I have a super weird bug with my Linux server (vServer) and I might actually need some help because I don't understand. At all. The server is running Ubuntu (with Ubuntu Pro), and thus it is automatically installing security patches at ~6 am. That's good. I suppose when it updates netplan or smth, the connection to my VLAN (just another network device that is managed by netcup) doesn't work anymore. I set up my network using nmtui and inside /etc/netplan there are some files that are generated / "rendered" by NetworkManager. Restarting the server or going into nmtui and disconnecting & reconnecting the connection makes the connection work again. I feel like this is some weird bug with nmtui / netplan / Ubuntu Pro. All of that works on my other server (root server) with somewhat the same setup (Ubuntu Pro, nmtui, VLAN, ...) and I honestly don't know what I can do now... Might someone want to help me with this? Probably someone who knows stuff about netplan and nmtui? o.o #linux

Okay I honestly need to learn how to correctly work with Paperless-ngx. I do store a lot of documents in there, but it's not really helping me sort my documents. With how I use it as of today, I might be better off with some PDFs inside some folders. How do other people use this software?

Oh shit, Valves Versanddienstleister in Europa hatte nen Databreach o.o

@cato@chaosfurs.social I mean, there are so many infos I could add so I really don't know what I should add and what would be too much... Techwear designed by Lumia, modeled by kianga, texture edits by me. Avatar by nicoreda. Avatar-texture by a friend. Wings are technically by morghus, but also originally by zephyxus. A lot of help with the setup and changes to this avatar by a friend. So... yeah... this is a bit much and I don't know what I should mention and what not.

@LumiaP2L@meow.social @Pouet@eldritch.cafe omg that's so beautiful!! :O

@uvok@woof.tech Lustig, ich hab fast dasselbe Model nur ohne P. (Also kein Power Over Ethernet.) Da ich dasselbe Gerät zweimal hier habe, habe ich das eine jetzt einfach mit dem anderen ausgetauscht und es scheint zu gehen. Wahrscheinlich also wirklich nur ein Montagsmodell.

@uvok@woof.tech Puh, ich will einfach nur etwas was funktioniert. Keine Energie, da noch groß was am Netzwerk zu werkeln. Hab halt wirklich nur das Kabel zur Fritze, das dann Internet zu meinen 5-6 anderen Geräten bringen soll. Da ist nicht viel dahinter. o.o'
