Hey guys! I'm still alive, and still making art! I've been practicing my human-ish figures in the recent days, and this piece is the result of the most recent effort!

I think she looks really good here, and several experiments have been done to see how effective the drawing can be, including the addition of eyeshadow and blush, and lots more floof than I tend to use. I love it so far and I expect more in the future!

If you wanna see how I do my art come hang out on most evenings at https://www.twitch.tv/starsongdusk !!

Hello everypony! I've been working hard lately, and recently came up with my villainess, Frozen Dawn. I also got a chance to really upgrade my art skills, and wanted to share this most recent iteration. Frozen Dawn is the alicorn that rules the Stargazer universe, at least in the distant past. She has long used the powers of ice and snow to conquer her enemies, and ensure that her ponies are left undisturbed. However, she eventually was allowed to fall into obscurity and was discarded into the histories of time, left to sleep on a desolate frozen moon on the outskirts of the Aelia system, far from the nearest star. She has awakened as something new and evil, the Villainess Frozen Dawn, and she will do anything to reclaim her throne and bring the ponies under her heel. All in the name of protection and security. #starsongdusk #projectstargazer #art #digitalart #mastoart #krita #scifi #ice #spear #armor #oc

Meet Sugar Star, a gift for my friend Iggy! They're a cute little Unicorn with a lot of earth-pony like features. They were so fun to draw, thanks Iggy!! #starsongdusk #projectstargazer #art #mastoart #digitalart #twitch #krita #unicorn #gift #illustration #OC

A figure study gone off the rails, i made every decision about this piece on the fly. Every single little bit was done by inspiration that appeared randomly as the night went on, including the final setting gifted by my friend @lumiere@hooves.social !! Thank you my friend!!

This piece is in fact a YCH, but that's the figure only. Everything else is adhoc, for which I am very very proud.

Been too long since I drew Luna!

Always more art to see at my twitch channel, https://www.twitch.tv/starsongdusk . Come hang!

What started as a figure study turned into a long-form piece of art featuring myself and my best friend @duppydoodles@equestria.social . He's an amazing artist, patient and kind, and he's the best teacher i've been fortunate to have.

If only I would study his techniques more, lol. Been meaning to do a piece like this for a couple of years now, and I think I finally nailed it. Proud to call you family my dude.

Whew! Decided to try drawing my lovely villainess Frozen Dawn for the last couple of days, the antagonist in my Stargazer universe/storyline. I started with just a simple nude base, then a poll on twitch decided on armor. Fun. Frequently doing art and more at https://www.twitch.tv/starsongdusk if you want to come hang out and enjoy the vibes! #starsongdusk #projectstargazer #art #mastoart #digitalart #painting #anthro #unicorn #krita #twitch #alttext

Surprising story behind this one. I had a seriously nasty day of depression yesterday and I decided i needed to do some comfort art. The result is this, Starsong resting on a counter top and drinking a cup of coffee.

The reason it's comfort art is that long ago, I decided to learn to draw so I could do 2 things: Sexy pinups, because i've always loved that kind of art, and to be able to show people the images I see in my head.

I've finally come to a point where I feel I can accurately reproduce Starsong in the way I envision her, and that is so good for my brain. Last nights art was therapy, todays completion was a celebration.

Hope you like it, beware thar be one smexy tired horse below the spoiler.

As always, feel free to come hang out when I stream at https://www.twitch.tv/starsongdusk !

Replying to

@feathervocals@equestria.social I like to describe it as twitter for horses without all the n*zi's. It's a very lovely corner of the net, and it's very focused on our fandom. Also a very large international presence, since I do believe this instance is based in France!

You know, I have a question. It's a little weird, but I'm older and don't quite truck with modern social media. Do people use sites like xitter, mastodon, and bsky to just post random things they're thinking about? Is it like a blog but tiny? I only ever use it to post my art, but I wonder if there is a place here for more personal things. Again, I'm used to chatrooms and forums for socialization, not this kind of media. Would very much like some input from my fellow equestrians- is this the modern incarnation of a forum? Thanks for your replies, if you take the time to do so. I sincerely appreciate it!

Well, it's been a wild couple of weeks. I was finally able to get a stream out tonight, after a week of chaos due to a death in the family. Rest in Peace, grampa.

Finally, things have calmed down to a point where I can start doing creative things again. Tonight, I did a short warmup sketch that turned into an inked piece, lol. Just a cute little Fluttershy doodle I did on stream!

EFNW coming up soon, can't wait. Ping me if you're going and might want to hang out!

Just a bit of vent art of my #starsongdusk looking adorable in a loose sweatshirt. I imagine this is what the captain looks like when she's getting ready for bed after a long day of exploration and command work. So much paperwork.

Decided to attempt drawing some anthro stuff after several years away, I think it went really well! A Cute Starsong looking both sexy and shy, while wearing the outfit I first imagined her wearing back when she was designed.
