I recently started sewing again after years long break. I thought I couldn’t do it anymore due to arthritis but I was wrong. All the muscle memory is still there. 🖐️ Today I sewed a pair of pants using a pattern for the first time in forever. Totally messed them up learning what not to do but that was the plan. 😃 Just a practice pair to tweak the pattern (and my skills) using left over fabric so nothing lost. My goal for the next attempt is something wearable but joy in the process! #sewing

@susankayequinn@wandering.shop I started sewing again this year. I gave it up years ago. Some silly idea about arthritis in my hands. The availability of fabric with cool designs is awesome now. You can get just about anything you can imagine printed onto fabric.
@scalzi I wonder how Apple plans on dealing with all the laws that prevent filming and recording other people without their consent.
If AI is so powerful and can replace humans and solve all our problems, what is the reason it hasn’t yet figured out how to power itself without destroying the habitability of the planet? Did someone forget to ask it? #AI

We are not here for jobs. Our life giving power terrifies them. We take the spark of life and knit new humans into being with our bodies. AI will never and can never replace our power as life creators. The tech dudes only exist because of OUR power to bring life into the world. Let’s see AI do that.
