@visionaire@fedisphere.eu @daniel@gultsch.social the main reason for the tag is likely, that the post/comment is ABOUT the Fediverse ;)

Since I am moving over to Linux more again, I ran into the issue of remote control on Wayland being limited again and again. So I am so happy Rustdesk announced just yesterday full unattended and login support: https://rustdesk.com/blog/unattended-remote-access-wayland/

RE: @ber@social.tchncs.de

Alive internet theory.

After nearly 9 years of Linux abstinence using macOS provided by a job and continuing to use it after, I wanted to return. Wanting something different and more suitable to me than Ubuntu, like last time, I ended up with Ultramarine, because of a few key points.
It's been really nice to use, and I am grateful it exists.
If there is something I can give back, let me know.
@madomado@floss.social thank you for your work on Ultramarine and especially hop.
The latter allows me to find what is right for me.

@ayo@lonely.town thank you for giving ncdu to the world :)
I just tried to find out, why there is v2 in the Debian packages. The only reference I could find was https://dev.yorhel.nl/doc/ncdu2, talking about doing serious testing on version 2, before it can become stable.
What is the progress on that?

@ngrob@mastodon.gamedev.place great! Just recently I looked for exactly that. It surprised me to not find any open-source alternatives to Polarsteps. Federation would be even better 👍

@ubernauten@uberspace.social reading through the new u8 manual, I found the reference to sieve.info: https://u8manual.uberspace.de/mail_filters/#:~:text=and%20plugins%20at-,sieve.info,-.%20For%20example%20you

Unfortunately, that site doesn't seem to be available any more and redirects.
Only with https://web.archive.org/web/20251206000702/http://sieve.info/ I was able to check it out.
Do you have a current alternative source of information?

I cannot submit an issue or PR directly on the u8 manual rep without an account: https://git.uberspace.is/uberspace8/manual

Will the u8 manual also come to https://github.com/Uberspace/ like
https://github.com/Uberspace/manual?

@hallo@uberspace.social is there a limitation on uberspace7/CentOS7 preventing installing newer versions of weechat than 3.6?

Thank you @mythmon@tech.lgbt for the weechat in tmux linux service write up at https://mythmon.com/posts/2015-02-15-systemd-weechat.html
It helped me get my setup going agian.

@ngrob@mastodon.gamedev.place love that you used Astro for it :)
And I am curious to see what Feditravel is about.

@ngrob@mastodon.gamedev.place are the spinning loading circles / throbbers on https://www.nilsgrob.ch/about intentional?
Are they signifying, that you are currently still in that position? Or are they really loading indicator remnants?
