Three pedestrians walk past St. Kolumba, a ruined Gothic church rebuilt with modern brick. The church was destroyed in WW2 but by 1947 a small shrine called the Madonna of the Ruins had been set up. Today that shrine stands on the same site inside a modern building.

"Frito Bandito"
I was eating fritos at my post back when I was a guard at the Intel plant. I dropped one and this little fella (a scrub jay) came and scooped it up almost as soon as it was on the ground!
I wasn't too worried since Fritos are basically just corn, oil, and salt so nothing a bird can't digest in small amounts.
(Also if anyone could send my husband and I some Fritos I'd be glad, they're almost impossible to find here).
