The kind of progressive, modernist idea that should be resisted at any point in history. Why Thomas wanted a view of the railway station, and the local supermarket and its car park, I shall never understand. @rlcj@mstdn.social Perhaps he was always meeting people coming in by rail and wanted to be sure they had arrived before heading out? And there *is* a nice view of the River Trent.
