Jesus, strlen is fucking TRASH. I swear, if I end up using it, even properly, due to its lack of bounds checking; there's a fucking issue where it will straight up crash an entire desktop environment.
It pisses me off because I have to deal with the insanity.
I have to restart my machine from the cold because they haven't decided: "Let's just check if the string is NULL" -- no, instead you just get the length checker. So that means absolutely every single library that relies on it; has basically fucked everyone else, because they decided it's okay to also _not_ check for a NULL string.
But I guess common fucking sense is something that doesn't exist. Speed doesn't actually change if you're going out of your fucking way to add a minor fucking check where it's needed.
