Natalie Vock at Valve is absolutely crushing it for the Steam Machine and trying to maximize utility of 8GB of VRAM
Though with MESA 26.x and now these new dmem cgroup controllers, one has to wonder what further optimizations remain before launch?

There is a specific quality to the DeLorean that I find hard to put into words.
It's just a feeling that I don't feel gets captured from any other vehicle.
I'm playing Forza Horizon 6
I'll have a comprehensive review across handhelds on May 14th
Why is Forza Horizon 6 so good?
I don't know why I enjoy it so much. I find myself mindlessly racing around the free-roam sections but I'm never bored.
On PC with maxed settings, driving around Japan... Sometimes I just outright stopped to appreciate how gorgeous it is.
Here's a free game idea:

Forza Horizon 6 is almost here and I am genuinely pleased to report that FH6 is exceedingly playable on the Steam Deck (albeit 720p low) as well as the XBOX ALLY X
I have native benchmarks at 720p and 1080p for those curious in the Video Below:

Using a Steam Controller on Windows is both good and bad.
- Right trackpad is a mouse UNTIL any BPM window comes up and then it isn't (Why?)
- Steam Keyboard should not be default on Windows
- holding Steam button to toggle Right trackpad mouse is clunky
Lots of UX whiplash from "desktop" view

AOOSTAR has a new Open-Air eGPU (which looks SICK) that is both Thunderbolt 5 AND Oculink
It also features a replaceable 800w PSU that powered my 4090... except with one big issue

Qualcomm's latest Snapdragon X2 Elite Extreme makes its debut with the Asus Zenbook A16.
The CPU is insanely great, 16" 3K OLED panel, 48GBs of RAM @ 1.2Kg for $1600

Unfortunately, I'm still waiting on my Steam Controller to even get packaged
Oh well
Distilling AMD RDNA2+ it should become clear how memory bandwidth is scaled and how AMD really tried to have Infinity Cache fill-the-gap
From what I understand RDNA5 doesn't need if$ and that's honestly a better direction imo.
(I hope AT0 has a full-fat gaming variant)
