I'm here for sports which are political, so fascists and their ilk will be blocked.
I presume FIFA banned reusable water bottles because someone showed them how much profit can be made by bottle water sales
I did watch most of the longest tennis match in history, just a short 11 hours and 5 minutes over 3 days
When tennis is bad it is so baaaaaaad but when it is good, oh it is so so good.
Perhaps the women shouldn't the night game if that is the quality we get. Anyway, off to Tifoe, the last American standing
Always a tad odd to go from such a human performance that you could see took a lot of work and planning to pull off to some shitty ads.
My friend is a Yankee fan so it seems I will be going to the Yankee game next Sunday. At least it is a day game and I plan to have a lot of beer (one because $$$)
I know hockey players have a lot of superstition but not sure anyone has as many as Nadal has
I do love tennis (not that I play tennis, never have, played racquetball and squash)
The thing about tennis is early on there are always some good matches but most often they are not in the main stadium or even the second stadium because that's where the very best go against the bottom of the field.
A lot of upsets over on the men side of the French open today
Me: ESPN isn't very good at Tennis coverage
WB/Discovery: Hold my beer
Kostyuk lost so at least I don't haev to deal with the hypocritical nature of her and the media when it comes to war (Russia bad, boo, hiss. Israel is cool as shit, love them, awesome). Also comparing her refusal to shake a Russian tennis player hand is equal to a Jewish person not shaking a Nazi had is, well, pretty bad take.
Here we go, Women Semi at the French Open, match one of two.
And yes, Tennis still refuses to have the Russian flag but 100% cool with Israel flag
French Open has been, well, chaotic this year. The oldest women still in it is 24 years old. There will be a new champion on both the men and women title this year too.
This French Open match looks like they are playing in the Old West (dust and clay look very similar when blowing around)
So odd to see just a three set match (been soooo many amazing 5 setters this French Open)
