On August 29, we bow our heads in deep respect and mourning.

Today is the Day of Remembrance of the Defenders of Ukraine who died fighting for the independence, sovereignty, and territorial integrity of our country.

We remember everyone who gave the most precious thing,their own life for Ukraine’s freedom and our future. Soldiers, National Guard members, border guards, police officers, medics, volunteers - everyone who stood up to defend their country.

Their names will forever remain in Ukraine’s history and in our hearts.

Today, when I went to the post office to send an order, there was a woman in front of me checking her package. She had ordered a rechargeable lamp and a flashlight.

The postal worker asked:Are you already preparing for winter?

W: Yes, it’s time to start preparing, because this winter is going to be more difficult.

And I thought: we are all already preparing for a difficult winter💔

Air raid alerts have been going off all day today. Honestly, they started during the night.

I must have woken up in the middle of the night because of the siren. But I simply had no strength left. No energy, not even the desire to check what was flying overhead a missile or a drone. I just fell back asleep.

I have a special app that allows me to see air raid alerts and the approximate direction the drones are moving. Sometimes it even shows how close a drone is to you.
