A railcar mechanic was able to help get OR/Vienna train 916 moving; it will offload at the next station so single-tracking can conclude.

At approximately 12:21am, work unit PM64 rear-ended Silver Line train 691 holding at @ Metro Center. There are no reported *major injuries.

Yellow Line: Trains are single tracking between L'Enfant Plaza and Pentagon City because of a signal problem outside L'Enfant Plaza. Some trains are operating between Huntington and National Airport only to minimize train traffic. Use Yellow Line to Greenbelt to continue trip.
