And here was my #immaculategrid today, featuring Al Oliver (as always) plus several other Rangers including one freshly minted ALCS MVP.
Listen, I’m a superstitious guy, so I’ve been holding back on my daily #immaculategrid posts over here. No more! A celebratory all Rangers grid today, and who cares about that 65 rarity.
They talked to Al Oliver! This kid who grew up in Arlington, living and dying with this stupid team for so many years, has a full heart today. https://theathletic.com/5023408/2023/11/02/texas-rangers-first-championship/

@mjfuhlhage@mastodon.social I really struggled with this teaching my sports reporting class last semester, when so much of the business including live game coverage includes Twitter. I can’t in good conscience suggest anyone use that platform anymore.

@mjfuhlhage@mastodon.social I basically told them it’s a great time to play around and explore. Definitely Mastodon, but think what they can do on TikTok and Instagram as well. You just need to go where your audience may be.

@Popehat you were one of the best things going on Twitter for me as a media law & 1A guy, and one of the voices I knew I’d miss most when I left. I look forward to following you here and elsewhere.
