LA Sooner

Fists of fury. Impressive. #actionmatinee

I'm sure we've seen a decent amount of these but the titles all run together in my mind. #kungfusat

Have you ever tried to swing a pair of nunchucks around? If you have I bet you wacked yourself good in the forhead. #kungfusat

This would be a good drive-in movie. #monsterdon

Dustin Hoffman was in Kung fu Panda. We have some at #sundayfunnies tomorrow as well. WAY back. #kungfusat

Quite enjoyable. Thanks for joining in #kungfusat pals. Got a small list of things to look into. Have a great weekend. Take care. See ya soon.

Before we started doing this I had seen probably 30-40 kung fu films. It was more a desire to learn than share any expertise. That number is 10 times that now. It's a challange to find different, decent stuff to watch, but still a fun one. We appreciate all your support. #kungfusat

It's been a second for some, but we've shown all the 80s and later Jackie films here. #kungfusat

The HS I went to played football in fall and had graduation in spring. Might not be that way everywhere. #mondayactionmovie

Makes note to look for this episode of Longstreet(????). #kungfusat #Bruce

Jackie comes up with some Looney Tunes hanging on a rope ladder from a helicopter and flying after and droppin in, a train, so he doesn't get upstaged. Dude. Breath. #kungfusat

Would be a good Halloween(on Sat. this year) one if we haven't watched it in a second. #kungfusat

Jackie went the way of Clint Eastwood. From supporting roles, to star, to MASSIVE star to director. Legend. #kungfusat

Norris made a GREAT career out of knowing kung fu. He improved over time as an actor, but he had, and knew, his limitations and stayed in the lines. My fav is the not neccesarily kung fu Cannon masterpiece Invasion USA. #kungfusat

To be continued.... Thanks #kungfusat pals. Take care. See ya soon.

@dogwelder@jorts.horse Double snack bar run. Keep the Dr. Pepper cold. #monsterdon

"You should rest for a minute. Cool off." "You should have that mole removed from your forhead." #monsterdon

An irresistable toe tapper about heroes before we start. Your'e welcome.... #monsterdonhttps://youtu.be/uLzw0itEpgM?si=hs6mCVTE0ugsDBhn

We're slowly making our way through The Big Valley at #westwed Richard Long was one of the brothers. Passed away of a heart attack at only 47 in 1974. #monsterdon

If you put your feet on the bottom and stand up your head whil be above water, in case you run out of oxygen. #monsterdon

"In a hurry dear?" he asks, knowingly. And that little smile. #monsterdon

Will have to look for All For the Winner. #kungfusat

"So you'll never play pro baseball? It's only a pinky." #kungfusat

Crouching Tiger is the kung fu Gone With the Wind. Epic masterpiece. #kungfusat

You would think if one time zone was 'eastern' the other would be 'western', or if one was 'pacific' the other would be 'atlantic', but nope. Anyway.... #monsterdon

There's is ZERO chance that the person didn't notice the strings attached to the skeleton. Unless they were drunk. #monsterdon

This is really fast moving. #monsterdon

Hanging accomplishes death through neck breaking, not strangulation. #monsterdon

Not even 10 am and it's already 87. Gonna be over 100 this afternoon. I'm starving and if I don't eat now I won't have an appetite until way late tonight. Looks like it's an ice cream for lunch kind of day. That means no nap. #kungfusat

There are a lot of time travel films, and a lot I like, but still there is one 'best' and I first saw this as a young teen. An age you don't like anything 'old' and fucking loved it. Still do. #monsterdon

Apparantly there is also a Hollywood film from 1981. The 2 women are writers, one writes for the critics and one for the cash. Don't remember it at all. 2 hrs. long. Doesn't look like there's any fight scenes in this one.... #kungfusat

I know I saw the reboot of this but all I remember was Geoffrey Rush in the vincent Price role. Don't remember if I liked it or not. #monsterdon

Play now and enjoy.... #kungfusat

I bet this music wasn't originally written for this film. If it was, I want some of the drugs they had. #monsterdon

Out of bed and sort of awake for #kungfusat......

"They're safe as long as they return within 24 hours of departure." That seems SUPER fucking important. She delivers it in such a 'oh, I almost forgot' manner. Awesome. I wouldn't worry about it. #monsterdon b

Time is relative. There may be a planet in another universe with intalliget life where It alternates light and dark every seven days, so their days would be two weeks our time. And I suppose you'd get used to it growing up, but moving to that kind of light cycle from every 12 hours would be a REAL psychological game. I'm high AF. Howdy #monsterdon

Bama laying a beating on Miss. St. early. The baseball is about to start. Chi/Cle. Curious to see what announcing teams they use on TBS. #kungfusat

@lysdexic@hachyderm.io Especially in Asian cinema at this time. Sometimes it sounds like they just turn on a Casio and hit the 'demo' button. #kungfusat

I've only had 2 breaks so far. Nice. #monsterdon

I squandered my time watching baseball playoffs this week and didn't look for anything for next week, but I did see something from 2024 with Cynthia Rothrock and Billy blanks and Mathias Hues and a bunch of other old timers called The Last Kumite. Didn't check where it's streaming. Any interest in me looking? #kungfusat

Tonight's #ILikeToWatch is a tribute to animation/comics and has a nice reggae-ized/funk version of the hong Kong Phooey theme by Sublime. Bound to be one or two new ones, but you'll probably be very familiar with most of the songs. 10 P ET. #kungfusat

I got some laced chocolate last time I was at the dispensary. Doesn't taste particularly good, seems to kick in a bit faster than the gummies. #kungfusat

Not anywhere near skilled enough to eat noodles with chop sticks. I have enough trouble with a fork. #kungfusat

That was a big boat to go from zero to sunk in 3 seconds. #monsterdon

"We may be the Adam and Eve of a brave new world. Wonder if they have taco bell?" #monsterdon Thanks gang. Take care. See ya soon.

Nice, sunny day in Cleveland. Plenty of fans in short sleeves. Bet beer sales will be brisk this afternoon. More so than other Sat. afternoons in Cleveland. #kungfusat

Computer's down. Can't do shit now. #monsterdon

#KungFuSat 9/26/26 Noon ET. Streaming pretty much everywhere here.... https://youtu.be/Wjj0Hgn6mz4?si=WzRCr5jA5g-DBjcz

"To deliberately kill someone, you need a reason." Ah, the good old days. #monsterdon
