@streetartutopia The services Google is providing to Israel are actually used to process and analyze intelligence. Believe it or not, they REDUCE the number of civilian casualties in most cases… Not that I'm a big fan of Google or anything.

@streetartutopia Furthermore: Contrary to popular belief, Israel is NOT committing genocide. It IS undeniable that the Palestinians are in a truly horrific situation, but it really isn't Israel's fault. They invaded Gaza to deal with an existential threat, and they will leave the second they are done.

@streetartutopia Also, it is a well-known fact that Hamas regularly employs children as fighters. This kid could have been blown up for legitimate purposes, but we'll never know because no context was provided.

@Imprinted @streetartutopia Here's why it isn't genocide: I personally know plenty of soldiers, and they apparently have orders to avoid civilian casualties whenever possible. Israel tries really hard not to kill any non-militants, and considering the fact that Hamas uses human-shield tactics (launching artillery strikes from schools and hospitals, building their bases under public infrastructure, both of which are war crimes), I think Israel's doing an OK job.

@Mogleg @streetartutopia Bro, look at what you're saying and who your saying it to: I'm an Israeli, with a whole bunch of info and perspectives that you'll never have, given I have friends on both sides of the border. Furthermore, as the Jews are the single most discriminated against race of all time, don't you think that when I say "we aren't doing a genocide", I mean it?

@mjr @streetartutopia Hopefully soon. I've lost two teachers in this conflict, as well as a family-friend. If this government can't make the right decisions, I hope the next one will. Thankfully, I've just turned 18, so I'll get to vote in that election!
