@linguacelta@toot.wales I'm more worried about shit like people potentially braking our glasses that we rely on to help us do shit, making places less accessible by design by not following the law, subtly keeping us from participating in activities that they see as something we can't do because we are blind, not people using the word blind for other meanings.

@linguacelta@toot.wales As a blind dude myself, I genuinely don't care about the blindness metaphores people use. It doesn't really offend me and I think is really a crock of nonsense if people do get offended by it. We all know what they are talking about, there are to many bigger problems in life to be worrying about than some usage of the word blind in science.
