mastodon 4.4.3I like history, cats, books, making things, and random facts. Lawyer, rarely lawyerly here. Deconstructed and came out Anglican.
I’m once again digging out of a depression cave, tiny bit by tiny bit with large pauses to regain my sapped strength. It didn’t get quite as bad this time, so my goal is the be clean by the new year (I’m also working all week so it’ll take longer). Tonight I cleaned off the bed and washed the sheets and such.
Posting here because, I dunno, feels important to be publicly realistic about the realities of living with mental health issues.
@jentaub@mstdn.social light reading
Accidentally made my morning coffee with expired milk. Do not do this thing. Do not.
It makes me feel a little silly, but realizing that, even though advent is over, I’m still waiting for so many of the things I’ve been longing for is really really rough. Also probably means my advent waiting got mixed up with my other waiting. Sigh.
In retrospect, having Ecclesiastes as my favorite book of the Bible in college should have earned me a “Go Directly to Therapy” card.
Really not into the discourse on the bird app shaming people for not planning to go to church Christmas morning and shaming churches for canceling services.
My advent wreath finally arrived today! Only missed half of advent but whatever lol
My cat is obsessed with apples, hummus, yogurt, pears, and now…marshmallows. SMH.
@fiberarts@a.gup.pe @BethFishReads@mastodon.social @knitting@a.gup.pe beautiful! What’s the pattern?
@kimshay I like it so far, but all of her introductory notes and translation/process notes were definitely important and helpful to give context to the project.
