@ai6yr@m.ai6yr.org it’s very important to prominently display the jacket of your currently playing album. Present it proudly. Even if you are the only one around.

Shout out to Randy KB3IFH for the new QSL cards. He had my design saved from 8+ years ago and was able to quickly update with my new callsign. Now I can catch up on the backlog of recently received cards. QSL cards are one corner of this great hobby I really enjoy. #hamradio #qslcard #amateurradio
Estate sale digital camera on the bench tonight. I picked it up for $1 because it “didn’t work”. Battery terminals were severely corroded and found one of the button extensions broken inside. After some cleanup and a piece of strategically placed 3D printer filament - it works! #electronicsrepair #camerarepair

@ai6yr@m.ai6yr.org I’m seeing this at work. Well, CoPilot says this… it’s treated as source of truth. Not good.
Two park rove today covered mountains to the beach. US-0648 Santa Monica Mountains and US-3448 San Buenaventura State Beach produced successful activations on 20m and 40m SSB. Slopped my way through a few CW contacts also! #hamradio #ParksOnTheAir #pota
Back to back SO-50 and visible ISS pass tonight. QSOs with K7DWE CN82 KO6MBI CM98 and KD5RYB DM80 on SO-50 and K7PD DM37 on the ISS. #hamradio
I made an #SSTV contact on 20m this evening with KB8AKZ in MI. He sent me an email after to share that he took this picture with his astrophotography setup. Cool! #hamradio #astrophotography

Very nice bright and visible high elevation #ISS pass just now. Received these two images from the #SSTV event. Switched over to the voice repeater between images and it was very busy. I heard @wd9ewk@mastodon.radio in there. #hamradio

@bud_t@m.ai6yr.org I recently tested a Koss SB-40. Great headset for the price but too bulky for me. I went back to Heil. I will try a W2ENY headset next time.

@wd9ewk@mastodon.radio how do you mount/hold your 5100 display screen? Looking at some 3d print options.
