Here’s a new example of “Americans will measure in anything but metric.”
This is on my Missouri Department of Conservation calendar: Plant corn when white oak leaves are the size of a squirrel’s ear.
Our toddler is a total rear-facing-backseat-driver. On our morning commute, we were stuck in heavy traffic. She can clearly see trucks out her window, so from the backseat she started saying “move please truck, move please truck!”
Gosh, I really wish that worked as easily as she thought it would. ❤️
Our little babe (2) started saying “ope!” today… correctly. Ope.
I randomly had a thought about never eating salmon as a kid growing up in New England. It’s all haddock, cod, lobstah, chowdah, and clams there (YUM!).
I texted my Mom to confirm my suspicions, and yep, I never ate it growing up. Now I’m wondering when I first had it, because I’ve been eating it for years at this point and it’s one of my favorites.
A house in our neighborhood has a revolving door of potential buyers. No one stays more than 10 minutes.
