Why would the NY Times choose the day the Democrats publish their highly detailed 91-page platform to complain that Harris is "light on policy"? This approaches self-parody. How about, instead, reporting on the numerous and specific policies expressed in the Democratic platform and comparing them to whatever policies you can find Trump and his party advocating?

I’m surprised the American press hasn’t picked up Kurt Andersen’s vivid first-hand revelation that RFK Jr. was a cocaine dealer at Harvard. As Andersen points out, it’s fair to ask why Bobby is supporting someone who says that he and his ilk should be executed.
No, NYT fact-checker, attacks on his military record are not “dogging” Tim Walz. Attacks don’t dog. They have no agency.
Vance keeps attacking Tim Walz with a lot of made-up nonsense, and you are joining in.
The NY Times catches up with Trump encouraging Russian aggression against NATO, and look how they minimize the story:
1. It’s old news. “… repeating a claim he has made previously …”
2. It’s just braggadocio. “… to highlight his negotiating skills …”
3. The first reaction quoted is not from the White House (¶6) but from Putin (¶4)—who promises never to invade anyone.
4. Trump says he caused “hundreds of billions” to be paid in. NYT doesn’t mention that this is a lie.
Justice Kagan sounds the alarm: The Supreme Court is seizing for itself authority that it does not have under the Constitution.
It’s time for Biden and the Democrats to treat this as the constitution crisis it so clearly is.

He really said this. Think about it.

Notice how comfortable the NY Times is, favorably comparing Harris to Biden. Can they favorably compare her to Trump? No, they cannot. It is forbidden.
Here the NY Times assures us that it’s going to be all snark, all the time. They won’t even pretend to the neutral stance they used to espouse.
